I work with individuals, couples, and families that are dealing with a range of issues that are creating emotional discord in their life. Issues may range from parenting and relationship issues to trauma, sexual abuse, grief, life transitions, depression and anxiety.
Each client has it in themselves to make positive changes in their life, but may need assistance in that journey. I believe in the client's innate ability to heal themself.
Therapeutic work addresses a holistic approach of mind, body, and spirit, as I believe one impacts the others. Treatment modalities are integrated with the client's values and beliefs as well as with the goals the client is working towards. I use a combination of theraputec techniques such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Family of Origin, Jungian, and other treatment modalities that would best meet the needs of the client.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, confidential environment where clients are able to find strength and courage to be honest with themselves as they make positive changes in their life. Together we explore current beliefs, thought patterns, and behaviors that are impeding the client from reaching their goal, thus keeping them from living a more fufilling life.
I work with each client on a sliding scale that is negotiated prior to the first appointment. I accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Debit, and cash.
